Singalongsong – 方大同 Guitar Tab
Singalongsong is the first single taken off Khalil Fong’s (方大同) latest album, 橙月 (Orange Moon) – see album review. There’s both an English and a Chinese version of this song on the album. Khalil writes both the music and lyrics for the English version while the lyrics for the Chinese version is by 马嵩惟.
This is my favourite song on the album and I’ve been working on the tab for this song ever since the album came out. It took me almost two weeks because the bridge was difficult to figure out, no thanks to my poor aural skills and music theory.
Thankfully, I had a little help from Khalil. There’s a YouTube video of him playing this song on the guitar, which is rare because he has only played it on the keyboard so far. And it was only because the keyboard setup was terrible that he decided to play it on the guitar.
However, the tab I’ve worked out is a simplified version compared to what Khalil plays because he uses a lot of advanced chords and chord substitutions. Do check out the above video because his guitar version of this song has a great feel, if you’d overlook the one or two wrong chords and him forgetting a few lines of lyrics.

Ah, you’re right in the proper usage of the word. I’m using it in its common usage on the Internet.
Thanks for your comments. Let me know if there is any mistake in the chords.

Wow, that’s kinda challenging. Would love to play like he does in the video too. Well, guess I can try but it will take me some time to figure out those chords.
