Having given 方大同’s (Khalil Fong) latest album a once through, this song immediately stood out: a remake of George Benson’s “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You”.
This would probably be the only song on the album I’d play over and over again without getting sick of (for now at least). Timeless classic that it is, Khalil’s soothing vocals and music arrangement, especially, give it a raw feel. The song sounds familiar yet refreshing at the same time. (Edit, 20 August 2009: Just like to add that) I really love the riff from the saxophone (I think, I’m not really good at recognising brass instruments) in the chorus.
The song is found in Khalil’s latest album, “可啦思刻” (Timeless), released on 14 August 2009.
