Not the first time I’m stating this but I have a soft spot for songs in 6/8 time. Which partially explains why I like this song, Just Go, from iKON’s second album “Return”.
The song does stand out in the album, and it’s not a musical style that I expected from iKON.

This song has been on my radar for some time and I’m glad to have found the time to work on it. 떠나지마요 (Don’t Leave) is the lead single from Block B’s repackaged album, “Re:MONTAGE”, released in January 2018.
Block B proves yet again that they are able to handle various music genres. Different from their previous singles, 떠나지마요 is a mid-tempo love song which sounds more emotional in comparison.

H.O.T. (which stands for High-five of Teenagers) reunited recently to perform together again as a group 17 years after they disbanded in 2001.
Their reunion and the lead-up was documented through Korean variety show Infinity Challenge. Watching them, I had a sudden realisation that I actually know about the group very much earlier than when I started listening to K-pop in 2009.

It’s been a while since I last felt touched by a song. That is, until 낮 꿈 (Day Dream) by Super Junior’s Sungmin came along.
When I heard the song, there was just this surge of emotions in me. It’s a feeling I can’t quite explain but it subconsciously told me that I have to check out the lyrics. And when I did, I think I could understand why I feel a connection to this song.
