I like the disco vibe of 잠시 (Telepathy), a track from BTS’ latest album, “BE”. And disco is not even near the top of the genres of music I like listening to.
But somehow, I can’t help but feel like bobbing along every time this song plays.
The beats are really addictive. Maybe it’s also due to how the BTS boys drawl when they sing and rap in the song. It feels like I’m in the middle of a lazy afternoon, doing nothing but listening to music with my headphones on.
When listening to the song, what stood out for me was Jimin’s vocals. Coupled with the way he sings it, it really suits the vibe of the song.
It’s a very straightforward song to play, with the same four chords repeating throughout.
No music video for 잠시 (Telepathy) unfortunately, but I imagine if there ever is one, it’ll be fun and colourful like Dynamite.
