Ha Hyunwoo actually lent his vocals to a…love ballad? That was my reaction when I first came across the song, I Can’t Stop Loving You.

I had just gotten to know Guckkasten then and having listened to their songs, knew the kind of music that they play. So I thought the musical style of the song was quite a disparity to Guckkasten’s music, and not something that I had expected to hear from Ha Hyunwoo. Even so, he injected his own style to the song.

I can imagine how a ballad singer might sing the song.

You cannot take the rocker out of Ha Hyunwoo, it seems. He started in a tender voice and sang with falsetto where it fits. Towards the climax of the song from the bridge onwards, the song transitions into a rock ballad. It does add a little more dynamics to the song.

Right, I must have forgotten that Ha Hyunwoo is Music Commander after all, versatile with different music genres.
